There is also an automatic camaraderie amongst dog owners. If you walk in an area where other dog owners regularly walk, they will ask you about the breed and habits of your dog and share their own. This lets you build strong relationships over time and to enlarge your circle of people you can introduce GDI to.

So walk your dog every day. Your dog, your heart, AND your pocketbook will thank you!

When you use the income calculator from GDI, you'll see that if you only recruited 5 people who recruited 5 people, etc. for the five levels of income, you would have monthly income of $3,905 US every month even if you never promoted again!

This means that each single person isn't worth $1 per month - they could bring you income of $781 or more every month!

So when you are chatting with a prospect, remember that this one sale could work into a huge amount of monthly income if this down line member works hard. So take the time to properly "woo" your prospects and to keep in touch with and help your down line.

You don't need huge numbers to be successful in this business, you just need some good, motivated people.

The Power of Persistence

One of my downline members had a woman sign up who said if someone didn't sign up during her trial period she was going to quit. This person is NOT very likely to succeed.

Another person I talked to had sent out a bunch of emails one week and then was disheartened that they didn't immediately get a bunch of signups. And they hadn't even ordered the DVDs yet!

Let's face it. We've all seen the "make money fast" ads and we've all even bought some of these schemes and they don't work.

What does work is building your own monthly income over time with GDI. With GDI's low cost, great tools and huge income potential, if you can't make GDI work, NOTHING will work for you and you might as well just decide to be happy working for others for the rest of your life.

You don't pick up a guitar if you've never played before and expect to be perfect the first time you pluck the strings. It takes practice and training.

Free mentorship program

No matter how good you are at recruiting people yourself, the true power of GDI for building wealth doesn't kick in until you have an active downline who are also recruiting well.

We talked about the importance of encouraging your downline. When I called one of my new downline members to give her some startertips, she said she had been in network marketing for years in many different programs and I WAS THE FIRST UPLINE MEMBER WHO HAD EVER CALLED HER!

This is CRIMINAL! I think it is shameful that anyone could recruit people into a program and then abandon them and expect them to do well.

In addition to being encouraging, why not set up a formal free mentorship program for your downline where you provide them with weekly online, telephone or local training? (local training could be like the coffee meetings or info nights).
